Comics / Art
- Drunkduck: An awesome webcomics portal, ranking and feedback system, free hosting for comics, forums, contests and more. I joined Drunkduck when it was first starting up, and It's gotten better and better with time.
- Nightgig Studios: Nightgig is a network of comic and art sites with an awesome community. If you're looking for a place to host an art site of your own, you can apply for your own studio as well! Also, definately check out the podcast.
- Atomictoy: Home to Buttlord GT, the best DBZ parody ever. Andy Helms is my hero, and this is the place to keep up with his artistic adventures.
- Dinosaur Comics: A webcomic with a twist - the art is the same in every strip. And yet, it remains consistently hilarious and fresh, hundreds of strips later.
- White Ninja Comics: Simple art, lighthearted humor, low in sodium.
- Achewood: Basically um a hilarous comic with such as witty dialogue and rad characters. And huuugs.
- Penny Arcade: The quintissential gaming webcomic.
- Explodingdog: You send in a phrase, Explodingdog makes a picture based on it. I'm not sure if it really counts as a "comic" but classifications are for jerks anyway.
- Achewood: Basically um a hilarous comic with such as witty dialogue and rad characters. And huuugs.
- Big Big Truck Productions: EK makes awesome art, comics, and AMVs. Brett is the voice of Nabeshin. It's a double whammy!
- Return to Sender: A black and blue comic concerning mysterious adventure and horrible monsters. And hobos.
- Lowbright: Derek Kirk Kim posts serial comics for your enjoyment and mine.
- Rubber Mallet Comics: Read the Gods of Arr-Kelaan or else I'm not being your friend anymore.
- Rumblo: KC Green draws more comics than is probably healthy, but I'm thankful for it.
- REYY: Corey "the rey" Lewis is the creator of Sharknife, which rocks, and Peng, which is about dodgeball and I assume rocks as well.
- 4Chan: A gigantic imageboard for anime and related subjects, and a growing cultural phenomenon.
Podcasts
- This Week in Tech: Leo Laporte and freinds bring you the latest technology news. If you loved Techtv/Zdtv back when it was actually good, listen to this.
- Dawn and Drew: It's hard to describe this show... it's not really about anything in particular, but it's a fun listen, and it comes out pretty much every day!
- The Word Nerds: All about language and etymology. The evolution of language absolutely facinates me.
- Anime World Order: News, reviews, and a healthy dose of jaded sarcasm towards the anime fandom.
- Ask a Ninja: An absolutely hilarious video podcast wherein all the secrets of the orient are revealed.
- Diggnation: Discussing the top rated stories from tech/web culture news site Digg.com.
- All Games Considered: RPG nerds, boardgame nerds, wargame nerds, UNITE!
- Channel Frederator: Weekly animation anthology, ranging from indie shorts to professional ads.
- The Gigcast: Comic books, webcomics, and a variety of other topics.
- They Might Be Giants Podcast: Live music, demos, unreleased songs, and good ol' nonsense.
- Fast Karate for the Gentlemen: Rambling, vitriol, and fist of the north star. You're already dead.
Other
- Somethingawful: You may know SA from the photoshops, flash movies, and other bits of internet culture that have spread from it's pages, but its important that you realize that it is also home to the best damn forums in the world.
- Wikipedia: Wikipedia is the reason the internet was invented. If you want to know anything about anything, go here.
- Animesuki: I love anime fansubs, and Animesuki is the place to get them. There are enough great unliscenced shows here to keep you entertained for eternity.
- Netflix: Who needs blockbuster when I have a constant stream of DVDs being delivered to my door? I love this service with all my heart.
